a one hour facelift that gets you back onyour feet the same day, with noticeable results immediately, well, i picked up the phone andmade an appointment to see the quick lift procedure in person. does it really work?watch now as a local woman goes through the process to find out. dr. dominic brandy: i think a lot of peoplefear that pulled-back look. wendy bell: at 54, judy marcella, first noticedit in photographs. judy marcella: i was looking at my picturesfrom my marriage and i always thought that i looked the same, and then around a yearand a half ago i said, "oh no, something's wrong here."

a quick lift costs roughly half the priceof a full facelift. dr. dominic brandy: we would cut about threemillimeters behind the hairline right here. we come all the way up into here, then wemake a little incision right in front of this part of the ear, and in behind this littlestructure here. this is called the tragus. and then we come in front of the earlobe,right in this little crease, and then usually we cut about a half inch into the little creasein behind here. wendy bell: dr. brandy marks judy's skin,and then she gets a local anesthetic. she's awake for the surgery, but pretty groggy.the key to the quick lift is that special suture, a loop that tightens up the musclesbeneath the skin. when the suture is pulled,

it pulls up the tension underneath. then dr.brandy trims away any excess skin and closes. total time here, an hour and ten minutes.judy is on her feet minutes after the final stitch. she is dressed and ready to see hervery anxious husband. her new face, still numb and feeling pretty tight, but so radiantand so happy. male: fantastic. dr. dominic brandy: i find that in most cases,the majority of the patients that come in can really get a 10- to 15-year improvementwith something very conservative, that doesn't give you a lot of down time. wendy bell: would you do it?
